Here at Tartine, we pride ourselves on the simplicity of our cooking style and the quality of the raw ingredients. The restaurant likes to ‘give the nod’ to Irish cuisine classics with superb Northern Irish seafood, beef, poultry, game and homegrown farm shop produce. Our mission is simple: serve delicious, affordable food that guests will want to return to week after week.

Our new local drinks menu showcases the impressive range of drinks from across the province, some created just around the corner!
Stylish & Atmospheric Dining
The restaurant comprises of three beautifully appointed, interconnecting areas, each with a contemporary selection of local artists’ original paintings and prints. The lighting is low, the atmosphere is relaxing. The Distillers Arms was originally home to the Bushmills Distillery owners, retaining many of its original features.
Tartine’s own range of award winning sauces, made in small batches by Chef Patron Gary Stewart, is available to buy in the restaurant, online or out and about at markets. This lockdown project has grown beyond Gary’s expectations, with a growing number of products and an impressive number of awards.

Here at Tartine we are a small, tight-knit group of dedicated professionals with huge passion and commitment to delivering the very best food and service.
Led by the multi-award-winning Chef Patron and producer Gary Stewart, the team is made up of an impressive group of experienced Chefs and front-of-house-long stays who have a depth of knowledge and understanding of their customers’ expectations.
Our friendly Front of House team is passionate about great food and drinks, with a dedicated and creative kitchen team. Both work together to deliver delicious food and fantastic service to all our guests.
Over his impressive career, Gary Stewart has worked tirelessly to encourage and support young people who are considering a career in Hospitality and Catering. He has championed the need for greater support for young graduates to help them achieve their potential within a challenging industry and has provided a number of young aspiring chefs the opportunity to learn and grow.
